Manuscript on paper (305 x 192mm), 2 leaves [blank with inscription \'Property of A.V. Viskovatov and his family\' and title] and 85 leaves of text in 10 chapters, and 2 blank leaves, fair copy with a few amendments, with four wax seals of the author. (A few leaves with some light smudging.) Original boards (slightly worn and repaired). Provenance: Aleksandr Viskovatov (inscriptions, seals) -- A.P. Struve, Paris (penciled annotations) - A. APPARENTLY UNPUBLISHED MANUSCRIPT BY THE GREAT MILITARY HISTORIAN, a history of the corpus from its foundation during the reign of Anna Ioannovna with lists of officers, awards, etc. A.N. Antonov subsequently published another history of the corpus in 1907 (see Zaionchkovskii 2301-02).
